Kontur (formerly 3D-Radar) technology demonstrates the power of utilising GPR array technology to assist in bridge deck investigations.
The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) has utilised the SMT GPR survey van to show National Highways how array GPR technology can enhance bridge deck maintenance.
- Target(s): Map subsurface structural features across an 80m bridge, such as:
- Rebar
- Post-tensioning cable ducts
- Voiding barrels
- Rebar degradation
- Method:
